TS5220A 4Pin Round Button SPST Straight Tactile Switch SMD
The TS5220A 4Pin Round Button SPST Straight Tactile Switch SMD is a compact surface-mount momentary push-button switch designed for PCB-based electronic projects, control panels, embedded systems, Arduino projects, IoT devices, and consumer electronics. It uses a 4-pin SMD package, round actuator, and SPST switching configuration, making it suitable where a small, low-profile tactile input is required.
The commonly listed SHOU HAN TS5220A specification is 5.2 × 5.2 mm package size, 2 mm height, 12 V rating, 50 mA contact current, 2.5 N operating force, and up to 100,000 switching cycles.
Its compact 5.2 × 5.2 × 2.0 mm form factor is particularly useful for space-constrained PCB designs. The switch is vertically mounted and uses gull-wing SMD terminals for PCB assembly.

How the 4 Pins Work
Although the switch has four physical terminals, it is an SPST momentary switch. Internally, two pins on one side are electrically connected, and the two pins on the opposite side form the other contact. Pressing the button connects the two sides.
This means you normally only need one pin from each side for the switching signal. The duplicate pins can provide mechanical stability and convenient PCB routing.
